Wanted: Mathy Blog Posts
If you are a math student or teacher (classroom or homeschool) or an independent learner, we would love to have you send in an article to this week’s Math Teachers at Play blog carnival, which will be posted Friday at Ramblings of a Math Mom.
- Do you have a game, activity, or anecdote about teaching math to young children?
- What are your favorite math club games, numerical investigations, or contest-preparation tips?
- Can you explain why we never divide by zero, or what is wrong with distributing the square in the expression
?
- Can you make upper-level math topics come alive, so they will stick in a student’s mind?
- What kind of math do you do, just for the fun of it?
- Share your insights about the theory and practice of teaching math.
Warning: The deadline is Wednesday night, so pick your favorite blog post and fill out the handy submission form now. See you at the carnival!
P.S.: If you send in a post, but we don’t use it, please don’t be offended. It probably got lost in the shuffle. We get nearly 5 times as many spam posts as legitimate submissions.
! You can either email the host directly (most bloggers include contact information on their About page) or just try again the next month.
